Full Field Futsal is played on an indoor field using a regulation Futsal ball and is a no-contact sport. 6v6 up through U14 and 5v5 for all other age groups. The maximum number of players on a team is 14. Players and coaches will sit off the field on the same benches used by the Indoor Soccer teams. Out of bounds lines are 4 feet from the boards (which are not used in Futsal) and are incorporated into the turf. The game is played with a ball that is smaller and heavier than a typical soccer ball. The heavier ball tends to stay on the ground, which helps players develop their footwork. In addition, Futsal is a no-contact sport. This is a fast paced game and is particularly beneficial to those interested in developing their passing and dribbling skills.
All games are 2 (20 minute halves) with one time out per team per half.
Unlimited on the fly substitutions.
Out of bounds no boundary walls.
Out of bounds have Kick-ins, No throw-ins.
Goalies throws ball in, no goal kicks (U8&10’s will have kick ins from the end line)
After a goal is scored play will restart from the mid-line.
